Welcome!

The "recommended" settings options refer to the example setup given in the official instructions for certain scenarios.

Depending on the chosen scenario, certain resources and/or number tokens will be fixed to a certain spot following the rules, whereas others will randomize according to your settings.

Scenario

Recommended Harbor Placement

Use the recommended harbor locations for this scenario.

No adjacent Harbors

Force all harbors to be at least two sides away from each other.

No adjacent Red Tokens

Hex tiles with 6 or 8 tokens not allowed to be next to each other.

No adjacent Resources

Hex tokens of the same terrain will not be placed next to one another.

Recommended Tile Placement

Use the recommended terrain and token placement for this scenario (restricts randomization to harbors).
